INTRODUCTION

Education  in  ancient  India had a glorious and a marvelous impact on upliftment and development of society and nation . The  earliest  literary  devices  like Vedas , Upanishads and other Hindu texts are still alive .
Various  mythalogical  texts such as Mahabharat , Bhagwat Geeta  were some few written texts  which were  used  to  teach  students  in those ancient times  when the rest of the  world was  still in there  tribal  time . According  to UPANAYANA  all  the  boys  above  the  age  of  three   to  sixteen  were  taken  to  be  taught  in  the  GURUKULS  where  they  were  taught  the  subjects  such  as  Ayurvedas, Politics,War Tactics,etc.
